Connect PayPal

Paste your PayPal.me handle on the settings page. We use this to build per-invoice payment links automatically. Customers click "Pay with PayPal," money goes straight to your PayPal — we never touch it.

Why we did it this way: Other tools want you to wire money through them, take a cut, and hold your funds for a few days. We don't. The link is yours; the money is yours; we just put a clean page around it.

Forward an invoice email — the wow moment

Got an invoice email from your accountant, vendor, or your own invoicing software? Forward it to your private address (we give it to you on signup — looks like paid+xxxxxxxx@stellarclose.com). Within seconds:

  • Our AI reads the email and extracts: customer name, customer email, amount, due date, invoice number, description.
  • We create the invoice record in your dashboard.
  • We schedule reminders at industry-standard intervals (3 days before due, on due date, +3, +7, +14, +30 days).
  • You get a confirmation email so you know we got it.

Reminders fire automatically

Every 5 minutes our reminder engine wakes up, finds invoices due for a nudge, and sends them. AI-written, in your voice, signed in your name. Past-due invoices get firmer over time. If a customer pays, reminders stop. If a customer disputes, reminders pause and we flag it for you.

Frequently asked questions

Do you take a cut of payments?

No. Money goes through PayPal directly to your account. We don't touch it. We charge a flat monthly fee for the software, full stop.

What if my customer disputes the invoice?

Reply to a reminder with words like "wait," "dispute," or "hold" and our AI auto-pauses reminders for that invoice. We flag it in your dashboard for you to handle.

Can I edit a reminder before it sends?

Yes. Click any scheduled reminder in the invoice detail page. You can pause, reschedule, or rewrite it. Most users never bother.

What does the AI actually do?

Two things: (1) reads forwarded invoice emails and extracts the fields. (2) writes each reminder in your chosen tone, customized to where the invoice is in its lifecycle. We use Claude (Anthropic) — same AI behind the rest of StellarClose.

Is it secure?

HTTPS everywhere. Database backups encrypted. Each tenant's data is isolated. We never sell, share, or analyze your data for marketing.
